I really like these. Makes me think of the more literal ways in which people go about obscuring their identities online, tor, multiple accounts, encryption, putting stickers on webcams etc etc. How to blend into the internet.

Manuel, have a look at dazzle camouflage. Some WW2 warships used these abstract patterns to throw off the attacking ship. Rather than not being seen at all, they tried to distort what could be seen. So the attackers thought the middle of the boat was somewhere else entirely, and in some cases, they didn’t think it was one ship, but a whole squadron, and would be scared off. Might be interesting…
